Free money for college does not EXIST.  So many parents with college-bound students are fooled every year believing that college costs can be paid with free money.  That’s a lie.  First, let’s define the word money.  Money  means a medium of EXCHANGE, trade or barter.  The word free is not mentioned in the definition.  You have to DO something to RECEIVE Something.  That’s money.  Having said that, there are only three ways to get traditional cash for college.  They are  through an Athletic Scholarship, Academic Scholarship or Aquired Specialized knowledge.  They ALL cost.  They are not FREE.  For example, to win an athletic scholarship  a student athlete have to work hard developing their skills for many years, go to paid training camps, paid academic training and be on a winning High School team.  It ‘s Not FREE.  To win an academic scholarship, a student will have to put in countless hours studying, do paid SAT or ACT training, do extra curricula activities and be in the top ten of his or her class.  It’s Not FREE.  To maximized on finacial aid,  you have to acquire specialized knowledge by investing in  financial aid workshops, professional guidance, financial aid books and materials.  It’s Not FREE.   Knowing these things will give you leverage it maximizing on financial aid opportunities you don’t have to back to cover college costs.  There are BILLIONS of dollars available if you are willing to HUSTLE!  Remember, you have to Do something to RECIVE something.  That’s  MONEY.

Students and parents will continue to face the rising cost of an education for the next 20 years.  If you are putting all your efforts on the traditional way or using student loans to pay for college, you are  heading for a disaster.  One way to prevent all of that from happening is crowdfunding.  Crowdfunding is a practice of funding projects by raising sums of money from large number of people using the internet.  There are no strict rules or regulations to get these funds like the traditional way of funding college.  You must have a story that would interest these groups to fund your project.  This is a smart way to generate money you don’t have to payback.  You can get more information from these sites on the internet: Gofundme, Gradsave, Givecollege, Upstart, Pave, Scholarmatch, Incited.  Be aggressive.  Hustle! and get that money.

Parents with college-bound students better start looking at colleges in a different frame of mind.  This will help them to focus their energy on GETTING MONIES they don’t have to back to cover tuition costs.  Check this out, this is a description of what a business is in the U.S.:

  • Businesses are organizations with a infrastructure (colleges and universities are too)
  • Businesses are involved with trade of goods and services (education and training) to consumers (students)
  • Businesses have revenue streams (cost of attendance) and expenditures (administration, professors and maintenance of the campus)
  • Businesses have income goals ( colleges have to make money to continue their existence)
  • Businesses are profit (private colleges) or non-profit (state colleges)

Don’t focus your attention on what college costs today.  You have no control of that. They are doing their business. Focus on the BILLIONS of dollars available to you to pay for it.  Take care of your business.  Let’s go and HUSTLE!

The rising cost of college is not a problem today for parents with college-bound students.  In fact, it NEVER was a problem.  In an economy, everthing rises.  We make adjustments if we want to.  If we want to better our situation.  Interesting enough, there are more FREE resources available today then ever before, where  students can exceed the total cost of attendance. What holds people back is not having a philosopy to win free money.  Rules and regulations that governs the financial aid process changes every year.  However, a winning philosophy overcomes any changes to the financial aid game.  It’s all about philosophy.  Develop the right mindset, learn about the numerous resources that are available then hustle and get the most free money as possible.

Students today are coming out of college with enormous amount of loans.  The game is over!  Because they never had a game plan entering college.  It is ironic that we live in a country where there are abundance of free resources to pay for college no matter  your income and families continue to make the same mistake.  It balls down to a lack of planning.  You see, when you plan you seek out the information in terms of free resources that applies to your situation.  When you plan, you are not in a rush to attend a college that are not willing to give you free resources.  When you plan,  you get the help that are willing to help you achieve your financial goal.  When you plan, you don’t wait the last minute and expect MAXIMUM results in 60 seconds when it requires at least six months.  You Must Plan.  Colleges and Universities are not going any place soon.  They are waiting for the lack of planners because they can get them to take out loans…the last minute.

Despite what’s going on with the economy, those who are knowledgable of the ABUNDANT world of financial aid, will be able to get a FREE college education.  Gaining knowledge is the first step but taking action or the application of that knowledge is ESSENTIAL.  The combination of the two creates results.  Students and parents, develop the  mindset for getting money, seek knowledge and apply that knowledge to get results (money to pay for college).
